Hey mates. I’m Vinnie – the owner/operator/fixer/maker/tinkerer here at Highly Strung Repairs. Highly Strung Master of None is an almagamation of skills and knowledge I’ve picked up throughout my working life as a musical instrument salesperson and repairer, bicycle salesperson and mechanic, and chef. In recent years, I’ve put a lot of time into learning and expanding my fixing skillset in an attempt to help stop things that can be fixed from going into the bin. Bring me your vintage stereo gear, mechanical appliances (stand mixers, etc), bicycles, knives, garden and workshop tools and I’ll do what I can to fix, service, improve, and sharpen them.
